How Orientation Works (Step by Step)

1. Sign Up

2. The Call

Orientation usually lasts about 30 minutes, though it can range from 20–50 minutes depending on your child and your questions.

During the call:

3. After the Call

Why I Loved the Orientation Process

How Will My Kid Make Friends on Recess? 

On Recess.gg, kids make friends several different ways. In classes, they connect with kids with similar interests or who are learning the same skills. It is naturally the easiest to connect with people who like the same things. Then kids build on those connections during Recess’s daily community hour where kids can hang out, do activities and talk to other kids in an environment that is monitored but much less structured than classes. What Is An Orientation?

Are Classes Ongoing on Recess? 

Recess offers different kinds of classes. Some classes are truly a la carte. You can pay for a single class and try it out to see if your student likes it. Your student will automatically be enrolled the following week unless you cancel. Other classes are designed to be taught in succession so you will sign up for and pay for multiple classes at one time.
