I’ve been using Reading Eggs in our homeschool for over 12 years—and I still use it today with my youngest daughter, Julia. It’s been a lifesaver for this mom of 9—especially when I’ve had multiple kids needing help, toddlers underfoot, and a mountain of subjects to get through….or now when I need her to work independently while I work from home.

With Reading Eggs, one of my kids could learn to read independently, while I helped another with math or spelling. That was already a huge win… Over the years, they added Mathseeds and then they added a ton of extra resources…worksheet pages, books and more to the program. But honestly, I didn’t have the bandwidth to try and use all of the capabilities of Reading Eggs with the extra bells and whistles.

I knew Reading Eggs was a great supplement….but it has gotten a huge upgrade!

👉 Reading Eggs Homeschool Max is taking Reading Eggs to the next level as an all-in-one curriculum for elementary…making it even better for homeschool families.

Here’s what’s new:
I can take EVERYTHING in the Reading Eggs website and inside the parent dashboard, I can map out the entire year…at one time!

✅ I can assign books and lessons to my child (no more guessing or skipping ahead)

✅ There’s a Read-Aloud Fluency Tool that records my child reading so I can listen later (yes, really!)

✅ I get access to a full Teacher Toolkit with lesson plans, curriculum maps, PowerPoints, and extra worksheets

✅ I can actually see detailed progress reports without hovering over every lesson

If you’ve ever wished Reading Eggs felt a little more like a complete curriculum—or wanted just a bit more structure—Homeschool Max is for you.

It’s perfect for busy homeschool parents (like us!) who need a mix of independence and planning. Now your kiddo will do the lessons you assign before they can access all the other fun things in Reading Eggs!

This can be a huge help especially when teaching multiple ages. It is also perfect for the mom who wants to sit down and map out her kids school work and feel confident that she is checking all the boxes. And of course, this is great for the parent who wants an “all-in-one” affordable solution that works for a variety of ages and abilities.

Speaking of all-in-one, you might be wondering how that works. Inside the Homeschool Max dashboard, you will find guides that map out what your student should do daily for reading, math, science and social studies!

Inside the parent dashboard, simply print the guide and then go on over to “Create Assignments” in the parent dashboard. In a couple of clicks you can assign Reading, When you are done, do the same for Math. When you are ready for Science and Social Studies those reading selections can be pulled up right inside the Teacher Library…1…2…3.

In my opinion, this is an all-in-one solution for K-3…and a great supplement for 4th-6th!

We’ve loved this program for over a decade—but the new features in Homeschool Max really do take it to the next level. And the best part? It still feels fun for your kids… and simple for you!
