Are you navigating the highs and lows of home education without help? Affordable homeschool consulting saves you time, money and stress! Sometimes you just need to talk to someone who has years of experience and has been in your shoes.

When I first began homeschooling, more than 16 years ago, I spent so much time (and MONEY) trying to figure out the right curriculum that would be perfect for each child. I bought SO MANY different math curriculums….so so many…chasing the dream of the one that would finally be it!

There is of course nothing wrong with that, but I wish I had had a person in my back pocket to give me direction and help me not jump around so much. Not only would I have less curriculum on my shelves, I would have had a lot less stress!!

What’s a Homeschool Consultant Anyway?

One of the worst parts of being on the homeschool journey is that nagging feeling that you might not be doing things “right” or that if you just knew “something” everything else would be so much easier. Imagine having a good friend with years of homeschool experience, someone who’s weathered every storm and celebrated every victory, from the preschool years through high school credits and college applications. That’s your homeschool consultant!

Homeschool consultants are just an extension of education consulting.

My unique homeschool experiences include:

  • I was homeschooled for part of my education.
  • I have homeschooled 9 kids
  • I’m an adoptive parent familiar with homeschooling with trauma.
  • I was the director of a large homeschool co-op for 6 years.
  • I have sent homeschooled kids to public school and private school
  • I have had more than one homeschool graduate
  • I have sent my homeschoolers to college
  • I have graduated a homeschooler from college

(Every consultant has unique experience that can be helpful to you!)

Affordable Homeschool Consulting Provides Tailored Guidance Just for You

Every child is unique. They have their own learning style, interests, and pace. The same goes for homeschool moms and dads. We all have our own teaching styles and life situations. So essentially you have parents and students they may learn differently and may have different needs. As a homeschool consultant, I listen…and provide input and suggestions to help you make the best educational choices for your family.

Whether you’re a newbie feeling overwhelmed by curriculum selection or a seasoned homeschooling mom looking for the best way to tackle high school credits, these consultants have got your back.

As a homeschool consultant, I bring years of experience and a broad spectrum of knowledge to the table. It’s kinda like being a “life coach” for homeschooling. I bring the big picture to the today decisions people are working through.

Not Just Homeschooling

Let’s be honest, not every conversation about homeschooling…is really about homeschooling. Sometimes parents need help figuring out what the BEST EDUCATION option is for their child…and sometimes that is NOT homeschooling. Crazy right!

As a parents of 9 with our own unique education backgrounds, we have had to make different choices for different kids…and sometimes that has been to NOT HOMESCHOOL. Sometimes we need someone to help us look at ALL the options to right the right place for our kids.

Our family has used a huge variety of educational experienes:

  • Public School
  • Private School (Christian, Waldorf and special education)
  • Homeschool
  • Boarding school
  • Early College
  • Public University
  • Private Christian University
  • Studying Abroad
  • Hybrid homeschool
  • Homeschool co-ops
  • Farm school
  • Private classes (in person and online)

Not Just Academics

Homeschooling isn’t just about academics; it’s about nurturing a well-rounded, happy human being. Consultants understand this deeply. Beyond helping you choose an academic program, they can guide you in creating a homeschool schedule that allows for additional time for hobbies, rest, and family activities. They understand the importance of a balanced homeschool life and strive to help you find that sweet spot where learning meets living.

Let’s be real: homeschooling can have its stressful seasons. Maybe your oldest child is about to start high school, or you’re struggling to teach a particular subject. Or perhaps you’re a homeschooling mother feeling burnt out and in need of some inspiration to keep going. Homeschool consultants offer coaching services, VIP days, and even hourly basis consultations to help you through these rough patches. Think of them as your personal educational journey guide, offering a listening ear, practical strategies, and a pep talk just when you need it.

My Approach to Homeschooling

As a mom of 9 who has homeschooled for 17 years, I would say I land right in the middle of homeschooling…and other forms of schooling. My family loves to use the homeschooling community and co-ops to create the backbone of our education experience. We are eclectic homeschoolers. Some subjects we unschool and others we use traditional curriculum. Currently we use a combination of homeschool programs and curriculum at home. We also have a few kids in private school. I believe in finding the “right” educational option for each child and family in each season.
